Scary-ass engine compartment.

Why the hell does it need so much brake fluid. It looks like it holds at least 2 quarts. QUARTS!

I immediately recognized the same cruise control pneumatic as my Jaguar

Brake fluid is also suspension fluid, I believe. Horribly complex system that can total a less than pristine car if it fails. There’s a reason these aren’t worth much on the market, even if in beautiful condition.

Whole lotta. Hey: I got the tires removed from the Monte Carlo rally rims and I’m going to get them sandblasted this week and spray them GM WA5111 pure white.

Perfect!

Have you given me your opinion yet of whether I should paint those wheels Pure White, GM Medium Blue or Silver? I was thinking white because dog dish rims were white. Standard-issue steel rims on trucks are silver, as were the rally wheels on trucks in the 70s. Medium Blue would be a good look, but I don’t want it too flashy because the paint on Rusty is already baked.

I’m with you, go for the white. It’s perfect for van steelies. So perfect, that GM still offers it as a $25 option on new vans.

But what to cap them with? Since these came from a car, everything after market that I’ve found has been very flashy.

Labor estimates on that would be measured in fortnights.
